ASUM as an entire organization has a major focus on state politics and processes. Missouri S&T’s chapter of ASUM traditionally takes some of its members to Washington, D.C. to ensure that the voices of our students are heard at the federal level. Although much of the legislation that impacts students in Missouri happens at the state level, there are still many programs that are legislated federally that dramatically impact students attending Missouri S&T.
